Business Development Manager
Join our team to help us break the stigma around death and dying.
As Business Development Manager you will deliver an exciting area of expansion for the charity; overseeing and promoting our Simple Wisdom workshops, and creating new and innovative training offerings.
There doesn’t have to be a vacancy listed that suits you for you to get in touch with us. We are always looking for talented people to join us and help us achieve our mission.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with all stakeholders and supporters.
- A passion for interacting with a variety of people and a willingness to support the Anne Robson Trust team in delivering services and training of the highest standard.
Desirable criteria for all roles:
- A passion for the challenges and rewards of working with people who are nearing the end of life and those who need our support.
- An openness to undertake training to be able to help our telephone support service and the volunteers during and after their shifts as required.
- An ability to think innovatively and contribute to the wider goals of the charity.

Trustee (Fundraising):
We are looking for a talented, experienced and enthusiastic Trustee to provide expert guidance on the fundraising sector, including providing insight on relationship fundraising and the design and implementation of growth-based strategies.
As a Trustee your objective is to assist the board in understanding the internal organisational environment required for income generation to be optimised.
Developing a sustainable fundraising strategy is key in enabling us to meet and exceed our goals, growth and impact. Ultimately you will be contributing to the positive change the charity seeks to make to people at the end of their life.
Trustee (Marketing):
We are looking for a talented, experienced and enthusiastic marketing and communications professional to join our Board to guide and advise the charity in developing and implementing a realistic and exciting marketing and communications strategy.
At the Anne Robson Trust we believe that ‘no one deserves to die alone’. Everyone should have the support to prepare for the end of life, and the comfort and companionship of another human being as they die.
As a Trustee your objective is to use professional experience and expertise to develop a marketing and communications strategy, providing expert guidance on the marketing and communications sector.
The individual will assist the board in understanding the internal organisational environment required for marketing and communications to be optimised.
