Nicki Harris - Volunteer CoordinatorIt’s a real privilege to coordinate the Butterfly team at PAH and it is the team members who inspire me every day. Each Butterfly volunteer brings something unique and different to the role but all have the empathy, compassion and listening skills that are important to support patients in their final days and their families. The Butterfly volunteers also play a very vital role in the development of our service.
Our greatest joy is taking visitors into our beautiful Butterfly hub for some private, quiet time away from the ward and seeing how immediately they start to relax.
