Meet The Coordinator
Lorraine Burgess - SWAN Volunteer CoordinatorI’m Lorraine and I’ve been the Swan Volunteer Coordinator at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust since Feb 2024. I previously worked within the Voluntary Services Team at the Trust and saw the amazing work that NHS Volunteers do, and jumped at the opportunity to introduce our Swan End of Life Service.
It’s a real privilege to work with our wonderful Swan Volunteers providing comfort and compassion to both patients and their loved ones at the end of life.
