Led by Coordinator Maeve, the Butterfly Volunteers offer time, compassion, and a calm presence to people in their final days of life, supporting not only patients but also those close to them.

Maeve O'Callaghan- Harris - Butterfly End of Life Care Volunteer CoordinatorI enjoy working with an amazing team of Butterfly Volunteers who are full of energy, compassion and commitment to patients at the end of their lives. Volunteering takes time, heart and dedication, and I’m proud and honoured to have this team as part of our LNWH family.
The most important thing to me is that my volunteers make a difference every single day, not just in the lives of our patients who are nearing the end of life but in the spirit of our Trust as a whole.
