No one deserves to die alone
We support people facing the end of their life and those close to them.
What we do
We believe everyone deserves the comfort and companionship of another human being as they approach the end of their life.
We work alongside healthcare organisations to help them establish and run teams of specialist volunteers who provide comfort and companionship to people in their last days and hours of life, as well as providing emotional support to their visitors.
How we do it
Supporting Healthcare Organisations
We collaborate with NHS Hospitals, Community NHS Trusts, and Hospices across the country to help them set up and manage teams of specialist volunteers
Online Resources
We provide online resources (e.g. My Wishes Checklist) and engage on social media to facilitate honest conversations about death and dying, offering support and guidance through the end-of-life process.
Training and Workshops
We deliver Simple Wisdom workshops to individuals, care home staff, carer organisations, corporate groups, HR teams, and more.

Anne's story...
Anne spent a week in hospital. During this time, her family learned in the most painful way imaginable about the challenges faced by the NHS in caring for elderly people – and the impact this can have on patients and their loved ones.
