Celebrating 7 years of the Anne Robson Trust!

This year marks seven years since we first began our work – inspired by Anne Robson’s story and driven by the belief that no one should have to face the end of life alone.
Since 2018, with the support of our volunteers, healthcare partners, donors and our wider community, we’ve helped partner organisations provide comfort and companionship to over 30,000 people – patients nearing the end of their life, and the visitors beside them. Where families had a hand to hold, a listening ear, or simply a calm, reassuring presence.
We’re incredibly proud of that. Not for the numbers themselves, but for what they represent: dignity, comfort, and a reminder that everyone matters, right to the very end.
At a time when the NHS and palliative care services in particular are under growing pressure, the work we do together is more important than ever.
To everyone who’s been part of this journey so far, volunteers, donors, supporters, and healthcare partners, thank you. You’ve helped shape something meaningful.
If you’re going through something difficult right now, supporting someone who’s dying, or preparing to say goodbye, you’re not alone. You might find some comfort or guidance in our resources. We hope they help.
