Too many people face the end of their life alone

At the Anne Robson Trust, our aim is to change that. We provide companionship, comfort and support to people who are dying, and to those close to them, through our hospital services, community work and support hub.

If this matters to you, leaving a gift in your will can help this support reach more people in the years ahead.

The difference your gift could make

When someone is dying, small things matter. A calm presence. Time to listen. Someone sitting alongside them so they know they are not alone.

A gift in your will helps us train and support volunteers, work alongside healthcare organisations, and provide support to more people who are dying.

There’s no rush to decide. Just know that when you’re ready, your gift will make a real difference.

A gift in your will could help to:

  • Provide quiet compassionate presence to people as they are dying

  • Train teams of volunteers to support people who are dying in hospitals, hospices and communities

  • Support healthcare organisations to strengthen their end of life volunteer services

  • Provide resources to help people feel more confident when supporting someone close to them at the end of their life

Whatever feels right to you

There are different ways to leave a gift in your will, including a share of your estate, a fixed sum or a specific item. If you already have a will, your solicitor may be able to add a gift through a simple amendment called a codicil.

When including the Anne Robson Trust in your will, your solicitor (if your using one) will need our charity name (The Anne Robson Trust) and registered charity number (1178352).

If you would like to let us know about your plans, or have any questions, our team would be very happy to help. Any conversation will be treated confidentially.

If someone you know is dying, or you need support yourself
