Volunteer Coordinator Training Update

Volunteer Coordinator Training Days for 2 NHS Trusts this October!

Last week we welcomed teams from both Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust, and Rotherham Foundation Trust to our office for their ‘end of life’ volunteer coordinator training.

We’re very excited to be working in partnership with these hospitals and getting support to their patients at the end of their life, and their visitors, in both trusts.

Amazing feedback from both coordinators – thank you and good luck!

Thank you very much for two fantastic volunteer coordinator training days. The enthusiasm and commitment of the Anne Robson Trust team was infectious. The quality of the training material and the experience of how to use it has put me on the right path to setting up an effective service here at MTW. Without doubt, being in partnership with the Anne Robson Trust means our End of Life volunteer service is much better placed to offer the support our patients deserve.

It is quite difficult for me to put into words how much of an honour and a privilege it is to be involved in this new service at Rotherham, and more so, in partnership with you all at the Anne Robson Trust. The training and life experience/advice you have given me in the last 2 days has been second to none and I have no doubt will now become part of my everyday practice and the way I approach anything! I am genuinely excited for anyone in the future to attend these invaluable days in Stevenage with you all. I for one will be shouting from the rooftops about this for as long as I am able to do so. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, for enabling me to be a part of this.
