Helen is a highly accomplished, talented and professional fundraiser with over 18 years of diverse experience in raising funds for the non-profit sector. She has worked in various senior management roles across a wide range of causes including health and medical, mental health, homelessness and disability.
Helen has a BSc ( Joint ) Counselling & Social Policy Degree and a MSc In Professional Studies of (Management of Voluntary Organisations). She brings an extensive knowledge of the charity sector and is a moderator for the Institute of Fundraisings Trust Fundraising Special Interest Group. Helen’s ability to spot potential relationships has lead to success in securing major grants for a wide range of causes at local and national level.
Before joining the Anne Robson team Helen’s career included working as a Regional Director for the Big Issue Foundation for 12 years. She has also worked in various fundraising positions for charities including The Ickle Pickles Children’s Charity, HomeStart Berkshire, Straight Talking; Family Initiative; Relate Berkshire; Dystonia UK.
Helen has experienced first hand the sudden and tragic deaths of both close friends and family. She admires the way the Anne Robson Trust is there to help at such a difficult time, to ensure there is support there and help with recognising and dealing with the emotions losing someone close brings.
