Nine brave individuals are preparing to jump out of a plane next month to raise vital funds for an incredibly worthy cause.
On Friday 5th August, a team of 9 skydivers – from Wagstaffs Accountants, Barclays Bank, and the Anne Robson Trust – will take to the air and dive out of a plane at 10,000 feet to raise money for our Trust.
Jason Hodges, our Trusts Fundraising Manager, is one of the (crazy) members of the skydiving team. Jason says: “When Wagstaffs and Barclays Bank came to us with the idea of doing a charity skydive for the Trust, we were thrilled. I’m still not sure how I ended up being roped into the team. But we’re doing this skydive for a wonderful cause and if I’m going to be mad enough to jump out of a plane door, this must be the best reason to do it!”
The team is aiming to raise £9,000, helped by a matched funding boost from Barclays Bank in Stevenage.
So, please dig deep and support the skydivers. 100% of the funds raised go to our charity – the team at Wagstaffs have kindly covered all costs.
A big thank you to staff at Wagstaffs and Barclays Bank in Stevenage, plus UKSkydiving.com for organising this fundraising event. We can’t wait to watch the team complete their skydive!
Keep an eye on our social media for some dramatic photos of the event! In the meantime, you can donate here.

The skydive was originally planned for 2nd July but had to be rescheduled due to high winds – better luck second time around guys!
