People Do Extraordinary Things

On Sunday 14th July, Director of ART’s brother in law, Richard Pryor, (pictured doing his day job…. selecting wine for the menu at Cafe Rouge.. amongst other things!) is doing a ridiculously gruelling, extraordinary thing…

He is taking part in the UK Ironman.

A note from Liz Pryor:
“For those of you who, like me, have not come across this particular form of torture before – this includes a bracing 2.4 mile open water swim followed by a 112 mile bike leg round a large swathe of northern England, topped off by running a 26.2 mile marathon. Oh, and lets not forget, it must be completed non-stop, and in less than 17 hours.”

Not only is Richard doing this, but he is raising money for ART at the same time. So do dig deep, support him in this crazy ordeal, and support our work at the same time.

Thank you Richard – good luck on Sunday! We’ll be rooting for you…. (action photos to follow!)
