CHAIRMAN OF TRUSTEES
A management consultant by background, Roger has spent several years working in broadcast media, leading operational teams and helping them to successfully navigate times of change. He is passionate about helping people to thrive, at every stage in their lives. Outside of work, this passion has led to numerous volunteering roles within charities and his church. He is married with four young children.
After completing a doctorate at Cambridge University, James worked in the field of development economics, consulting on overseas aid projects for the UK government and European Commission. Following this, James spent a number of years in The City, working in the insurance and reinsurance sectors, before leaving to undertake an MBA. He then spent eight years as the Bursar at an independent school. James now works as a consultant and also serves as a Governor at a local prep school.
Janie Corbisiero started her working career in the Mexican Tourist Office in London having lived in Mexico, learning Spanish. Following this she trained beauty consultants for Clinique, part of the Estee Lauder Group, and then started her own travel agency with a business partner in the City of London. After moving to Hertfordshire with their two young children she started working part-time for her husband’s local company after having successfully sold her business. With her children in senior school Janie began volunteering at the QE2 hospital in Welwyn and, following that, at the Lister hospital in Stevenage as part of the Kissing it Better Charity volunteer group.
Janie’s time spent volunteering made her realise just how important it is to get involved in the local community. With our ageing population, improving end of life care for the dying is becoming desperately urgent and she is delighted to now have the opportunity of working with the Anne Robson Trust.
Janie comes from a large family, she has lots of energy and enthusiasm and is keen to support the goals of this wonderful trust.
