Now in her 12th year working within both community and Hospital Palliative/End of Life care, at just 17 years old Hannah decided to pursue a career supporting people giving and/or receiving End of Life care. This decision came after Hannah encountered numerous incredibly inspirational people supporting her Nanna in the last weeks of her life after a 10-year grueling battle with Metastatic Ovarian Cancer.
First studying Pharmaceutical Science and qualifying as a Pharmacy Technician, Hannah went on to undertake a Degree in Professional Practice in Healthcare whilst working in multiple community and Hospital based roles supporting 100’s of patients and loved ones along the way. Hannah’s most recent role being that of a Volunteer Co-Ordinator/Project Manager for a new End of Life Volunteer team within an NHS Trust.
Joining us from the North, Hannah lives in South Yorkshire with her Fiancé and their 4 children.
She believes that as our first breaths are never taken alone, neither should our last, and she is proud to be part of a team doing such important work.
