The FabNHS Awards ceremony was held after the Giant Health Conference in The Business Design Centre in Islington on Monday 4th December 2023.
Our work had been shortlisted, along with 6 other projects, for the TNT Award (Tiny Noticable Things) – and we were delighted when it was announced by none other than Professor Jane Cummings (ex Chief Nursing Officer for England) that we had won!!!
The Fab Team showcase outstanding achievements and innovations within healthcare, bringing attention to those who make valuable contributions to patient care. It was great to see familiar faces from NHS Trusts all over the country. The TNT (Tiny Noticeable Things) Award is awarded to organisations that go above and beyond to improve patient experiences through small yet significant gestures.
We couldn’t do the work that we do without the amazing people that we work with in the NHS – from the End-of-Life Coordinators to the Voluntary Services and Palliative Care teams but mostly the incredible volunteers who give up their time to sit with patients in the last days and hours of their lives, and provide support to their visitors.
