The hunt is on for an experienced Butterfly (end of life) Volunteer Coordinator to lead the team of award winning end of life volunteers at The Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow.

This established service was set up in partnership with the Anne Robson Trust and has been running since 2017. Princess Alexandra Hospital are keen to find a special person to take on the role. With the challenges of Covid-19 and the need to provide compassionate care to those who are dying and their loved ones, this is a role where you can make a real difference.

Exciting plans are in place to create a Butterfly Family Hub at PAH which would be managed by the post holder, and supported by the team of Butterfly Volunteers. Full training and support for the role will be provided by the Anne Robson Trust.

Do you have experience in managing volunteers, an understanding of how the NHS works, and an interest in supporting people in the last days of life? If so, we would love to hear from you!
